The Great Harmonica Run is a 4.1 mile (6.5k) run or walk through the shaded scenery surrounding Yellow Pine that finishes on the historic main street.
Early, online registration is $35. Registration at the race is $40; payable at sign-in. Sign-in for the race is Saturday at 8:00 a.m. on the porch of The Corner, where you may pick up your race bib.

Ready to take your harmonica skills to the next level? Bring your harp and learn from the legends!
For the beginning/early intermediate workshop, you will need to bring a diatonic harmonica in the key of “C.”
Advanced workshop participants may want to bring several harps.
Enrollment is limited. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Early registration is open or sign-in at the door. Harmonicas may be purchased at the Yellow Pine Tavern.
Want to participate? Sign-up is Friday, August 2, 8-9pm at the Festival Souvenir Booth. Contestants are evaluated on Musicality, Playing Skills, Difficulty, and Stage Presence.
Performance time is limited to 10 minutes. Each contestant should bring 3 songs to demonstrate their skill.

Walking Tour of Yellow Pine
The tiny village of Yellow Pine is an unincorporated community in Valley County, central Idaho. In the past decade, its winter population has fluctuated from 20 to 40 souls. Today, Yellow Pine remains active year-round. Yellow Pine and the surrounding mountains and rivers are also long-time draws to hikers, kayakers, hunters, fishers, snowmobilers, and other backcountry enthusiasts.
Take this walking tour at your own pace. Just follow the map.
Immerse yourself in the history of Yellow Pine and the surrounding area of the Central Idaho mountains. The museum provides a fascinating view into the experience of turn-of-the-20th century pioneers who were drawn to the remote mountains of the American West.
